Previously in an extreme state of disrepair, the Iglesia San Bernado is now restored and reopened. As well as the interesting internal architecture (which includes a substantial dome), the church houses a display showing the restoration process and some reproduction Holguin artworks. Details of some of Potosi's other restored churches are housed in the Iglesia San Bernado. These include, in the spot where the altar would once have stood, a scale model of the Compañia de Jesus mirador.
