Alpine style "Refugio Tunari" at an altitude of over 2900m is located in a remote eucalyptus forest on the foot of the Cerro Tunari (5035m), central Bolivia’s highest peak, offering great views overlooking the city and the valley of Cochabamba.
The Refugio Tunari organizes guided 2 days walking tours with tent to the Laguna Cajon (4100m), Cerro Tunari (5035m), and other peaks in the Parque Tunari. Walking trails start right from the Refugio Tunari.
